Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We have answers.

Do you schedule consultations?

Yes, we definitely need to speak before we decide to work with one another. Please book your consultation through the links in the header above.

What are your operating hours?

We are open from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. We do schedule consultations on Saturday afternoons by advance appointment only, as well as some evenings after 5 PM. We’re closed on Sunday. We are closed on all US Federal Holidays, and other holiday hours may vary, so please call or check our website for specific information on those dates.

Do you schedule in-person appointments or virtual appointments only?

We primarily offer virtual appointments through Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We will send you a link to the appointment after the appointment is scheduled. However, for some Metro Detroit clients, where there is a need, we will accommodate an in-person appointment request. However, post-Covid, prevailing technology makes virtual appointments and meetings not only simple but also effective and more convenient for everybody involved.

Is parking available at your office in Livonia, Michigan?

Yes, our office is located within an easy-to-find office building near 7 Mile and Middlebelt Roads in Livonia and has adequate and free parking for all visitors.

Do you offer divorce, criminal defense, or litigation services?

No. If the legal service you are seeking is not one of those described on “Our Services” page, we do not offer that service, and you should contact another attorney for such needs. Even for the areas of real estate and business, we are not at this time offering services involving litigation, with the exception of the hearings that are required for a bankruptcy proceeding and USPTO trademark Office Action Responses.

Are you a virtual law firm?

Technically, no, as we maintain a physical office in Livonia, Michigan. However, we perform most of our work and conduct most client communications virtually, and often remotely (Attorney Hilla loves to travel!), so the difference is negligible. The office gives us the option to meet with clients in-person. Otherwise, regardless of how we communicate, you can expect nothing less than excellent customer service and follow-up from us throughout your legal proceeding.
